Solovey Culture:
Стратегія і Цілі

Solovey- the Ukrainian word for nightingale – is more than a symbol. It is a living voice. A
tradition carried through generations. A song that refuses to be silenced.
We are building a cultural platform that preserves, amplifies, and shares the richness of
Ukrainian artistic expression. Our mission is not simply translation – it is transformation. We
take the poetry of Ukrainian song and give it new life, new languages, new listeners.
Through music, media, and community, we create bridges between cultures. We believe that
when the world hears Ukraine’s voice, it will understand the depth of its soul.

Voices of Support

Hear from our collaborators, partners, and community members

Dalia Stasevska

Ukrainian-born Finnish conductor

“Through music, Solovey carries the soul of Ukraine to Finland. I am honored to support this mission and to be its patron”

Julia Solovey

Co-founder UkraineWow

“Music creates connections that reason alone cannot. Solovey Project opens Finnish hearts to Ukraine through emotion, empathy, and beauty — reminding us that in an atomized world, cultural bonds may be our strongest force of unity.”

Matti Mikkola / Saimaa

Founder of the Saimaa band

“Working on Solovey was an extraordinary journey. It was an honor to contribute to such a massive production and to stand for a more just world through music.”

Oles Khudoba

Co-founder at DTI

“Culture is also a shield. That is why, besides working in defence innovation, it is equally important to have projects like Solovey that promote and integrate Ukrainian culture in Finland. ruzzia is not only trying to destroy our land and infrastructure — it is trying to erase everything Ukrainian: our language, identity, history, and culture. Initiatives like Solovey help protect and strengthen that identity internationally. I also want to thank Mikko-Pekka for this initiative and say how proud I am to have such a partner. Together we are stronger 🇺🇦🇫🇮”

Valter Soosalu

Estonian musician, conductor

“Recording “Solovey” meant working with music that already carried its own gravity. A conductor can only try to honor the truth that is already there.”
